Quads

Great workout today. Again I mixed things up with the order like I did last week. When I squat last, the knees and joints are well warmed up but I am no where close to normal max weight when I lead off.
I went to complete failure on the last two sets of each exercise.

Leg Extension: 75/12 100/12 125/10 100/11
Leg Press: 235/10 370/10 460/11,10
Squat: 185/8 225/8 245/7,7
Step Lunge: 40 x 14

Hey Joe

First off, great stuff. My question is, with your leg development I thought you would be moving more weight?

Great Question Paul.
My legs are pretty strong but weight is relative to when you lift it. Meaning, I went to full failure on my leg ext, and then had to do the leg press and then finally squat. Normally, If I lead of with squating, I will end up in the mid to high 300's for reps.

Another note, my leg press is much harder than those at the gyms. A lot of my clients have told me this, and a few tell me they can lift well over 200 pounds more than at my studio, while on the press.
So,that number will not look as impressive either. But again, its all about feeling and failure!
